Reusable Bags: Clean, Safe & Hygienic

Our vacuum seal bags are designed for repeated use. Learn how to keep them fresh and hygienic.

How to Wash Your Bags

1

Empty & Rinse

Remove all contents and rinse the bag with warm water to remove any residue.

2

Wash Thoroughly

Use warm soapy water or place in the dishwasher on the top rack. Clean both inside and outside.

3

Dry Completely

Air dry the bag completely before storing. Turn inside out for faster drying.

4

Inspect Valve

Check the valve is clean and dry before next use to ensure proper sealing.

Dishwasheable*

Although not recommended the bags can be placed in a dishwasher on a cool wash no hotter than 50 degrees. This will reduce the lifespan of the bags by about 3x but we understand sometimes it's easier.

Hand Wash

Use warm water with mild dish soap. Scrub gently inside and out, rinse thoroughly, and air dry completely before storing.

How the Valve Seals Properly

The one-way valve allows air to be removed while preventing it from re-entering. Keep the valve area clean and dry for optimal performance. Any moisture or debris can affect the seal quality.

Are Reusable Vacuum Seal Bags Hygienic?

Absolutely! When washed properly after each use, our reusable vacuum seal bags are completely hygienic and safe for food storage. The bags are made from food-grade, BPA-free materials that can be thoroughly cleaned in the dishwasher or by hand. The key is ensuring they are completely dry before reuse, especially around the valve area. Regular cleaning prevents bacteria buildup and keeps your bags fresh for years of use.
