Quite apart from the benefits of being able to remove the air and save space in the freezer and preserve my food for longer in a better way, I am very happy to be able to reuse my plastic bags and reduce, waste.

I've tended to avoid plastic as far as practical because it's not the easiest to clean. However, my initial experiences with the sealant bags and washing them out after storing meats has proven to be very promising. So I look forward to exploring this more fully.

Suck it ALL out!!!

If you’re reading this, then you’re intrigued. This Sealit system works a treat and sucks all the air out to make a good air tight seal making my food last long both in the fridge and in the freezer. If you haven’t bought one already I suggest you order one straight away.
