How long to charge the Turbo Seal Pro, and how to tell when it's done

The short version
- Charge time: about 2 hours from flat.
- How you know it's done: the ring on top of the unit turns blue.
- How long a charge lasts: around 100 bags, depending on bag size and how long each seal runs.
- Cable: units shipped after 27 March 2026 use USB-C. Earlier units use the cable supplied in the box.
Don't use it while it's charging
Charge it, unplug it, then use it. Running the pump off the charger isn't good for the battery and we don't recommend it.
If it won't hold charge
- Try a different USB port and cable. Laptop ports and cheap car adapters often under-deliver. A standard phone wall plug is the reliable option.
- Give it a full uninterrupted two hours. Short top-ups between uses are the most common reason a unit feels like it's always flat.
- Check it's actually charging. The indicator should change when you plug it in. If nothing happens on two different cables and two different plugs, it's the unit.
A flat battery looks like a broken machine
Weak suction, a motor that sounds like it's struggling, or a unit that stops partway through a bag are all much more often a low battery than a fault. Charge it fully before concluding anything else is wrong.
