The sealing clip isn’t essential, but it’s a game-changer for anyone with arthritis or hand pain, making it effortless to close bags and keep food fresh.
It’s possible to close the bags without this but it helps, probably should come standard with the Sealing unit.

Great little gadget
Once you position the valve correctly, this vacuum seals brilliantly. So far I've only tested on a block of cheese, but it is more tightly vacuum sealed than was the original packaging.

I initially bought my Seal It for my freezer and fridge. For those two reasons I highly recommend Seal It. They work a treat, I've had no issues with food spoiling etc.
Now for my bestest use lol.
I need to keep busy even in retirement I can't just sit so ... I crochet. In a motorhome I don't have a ton of space to store wool. So Seal It and I are best friends now. I store my wool in the extra large bags. Always making sure I don't cover the seal. I've used it to store beanies and gloves til I need them.
Such a great product, worth every cent.

It took me a little while to get the hang of it. I needed to give the unit more time past 10 (hahaha).
I find opening and closing bag difficult with arthritic hands.
Once completed food is fantastic for both freezing and fridge use.
Food lasts a long time and fresh when opened.
